Mr. Mooring is a Co-Founder of Renewa. He serves as Co-CEO and leads Renewa’s strategy with Mr. Lee.  Prior to Renewa, Mr. Mooring and Mr. Lee successfully founded and built Renewa’s predecessor company, Paloma Solar & Wind.  Paloma Solar & Wind was backed by EnCap Investments Fund XI and EnCap Energy Transition Fund I.  Mr. Mooring previously served as Co-Founder and President of Seawolf Resources a leading water management company in West Texas.  At Seawolf, Mr. Mooring oversaw operations and successfully led contract negotiations for Seawolf with major energy companies and landowners covering 300,000 acres in West Texas and New Mexico.  Mr. Mooring co-founded KLR Group, an energy focused investment advisor and merchant bank and served as a Partner and a Managing Director of the firm.

Mr. Mooring earned a BA in Economics and History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
